“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:14″16

Matthew 5:14 provides not only children, but all of us, with a powerful and important message that we ARE the light of the world and it is our purpose to share our light with the world through good deeds and an honest heart.  This wonderful bible craft is a great way to help children better understand this beautiful scripture.  Check out this guest post over at A Proverbs 31 Wife!

Very Cute! I made some Chinese paper lanterns like these to accompany a post series on China. Fun to see a different application! Thx for linking this up at the Thoughtful Spot!

A lovely craft with easy to follow instructions. When we made these we threaded them onto a string of fairy lights, which we strung up along one wall. It looked really pretty. Thanks for linking to Mommy Mondays #TeamMM
