Valentines Day Craft: 1 Corinthians 13 Valentine Bookmarks
In this Valentines Day craft, we are creating touching bookmarks that highlight the Bible verse 1 Corinthians 13. Using paint sample cards from your local home improvement store and soft vellum paper, children can learn this beautiful scripture while they create a wonderful gift for someone special, or one to keep for themselves as a constant reminder of the true meaning of Love!
Materials
- Paint sample cards
- Vellum paper
- Printer (or pen for writing scripture on vellum paper)
- Ribbon or Tassel
- Brad for decoration
- Hole Punch
- Scissors
Instructions
- Print the Bible verse 1 Corinthians 13 onto the Vellum paper. (The verse can be copied from above)
- Trim the Vellum paper of excess edges.
- Trim the paint sample card to be slightly bigger than the Vellum paper size.
- Lay the paint sample card and vellum paper together, and punch a hole through both at the top.
- Tie a ribbon or tassle through the hole.
- Embellish with a jeweled brad or other decorative element of your choice.
