“The Thanksgiving Tree” is a great holiday craft that will allow our older kids to express their gratitude in an artistic way, and also bring about a wonderful feeling of togetherness and thankfulness on Thanksgiving day! With just some handmade ornaments, like fabric coated foam balls, paper pilgrims and Turkey’s, a small inexpensive tree that can support your ornaments – and even some holiday lights if you desire – you can create a beautiful holiday tradition. As people arrive, ask each guest to take an ornament from the box, complete the sentence and hang the ornament on the tree! Check out our guest post over at Golden Grasses!

I plan to share this fantastic idea on my blog in Nov. (probably the 3rd) and link to your blog here. What a great idea! I can’t believe I’ve never thought of it before. I know my youngest daughter will especially enjoy decorating it for us. Thank you for such a fun, easy way to support attitudes of gratitude. Very thankful for YOU right now. 🙂
I like the reminder your posts brings to me today. We used to do this and as my kids grew we sort of got out of the habit, but I think it is time to resurrect the tradition.
Thanks!
Blessings,
Dawn
