Sunday School Lessons – How to Booster Attendance
One of the best ways to keep students involved in their Sunday school lessons is to give them friendly competition. Create as many different awards as students that you have, and challenge them to see how many awards they can accumulate during the Sunday school sessions.
Examples of awards include ”Most enthusiastic student,” “Most artistic,” “Best memory,” “Most helpful,” “Best listener,” etc. Make sure that all students can win awards, so no one feels left out, but not everyone has to get an award every week.
Of course, to win an award, a student has to be in attendance at Sunday school, so you give them personal motivation to show up.
