Here are some [tag]Sunday school ideas[/tag] to use with younger or older children when teaching the lesson of [tag]Jacob and Esau[/tag]. Use it as an introduction to the [tag]Sunday school[/tag] lessons. (TEACHER WORDS IN BOLD)

Candy Kisses Game
Cut up slips of paper into one-inch squares. Put one word on each slip: God. is. always. fair. Sometimes. His. story. isn’t. over. yet.

Then fold the slips or crinkle them into tiny balls and wrap them in aluminum foil to look like candy kisses. Hide them around the room.

Tell the children as they arrive that there are ten treasures hidden around the room. They should find them, and if they do, they can open them. The words, opened, will seem like a mishmash.

When all students have arrived, put all ten words on a table.

Sometimes it’s hard to see God’s will. Sometimes things look unfair. Sometimes only God knows the order of things.

Put all the words in order.

Sometimes we have to wait and be patient and thoughtful to make sense of the things God is doing in our lives.

Suggestion: Have one real candy kiss for everyone.
