Here are some ideas for Sunday school for your 2-4 year olds. Use the discussion idea while engaging them in the activity and song to teach this lesson on Jesus and love.

Discussion:
Ask the children what love means. Discuss ways that we show love to our mom, dad, brothers, sisters, etc.

Bible Story:
Tell the story of Jesus healing the blind man from Mark 10:46-52. You can use a children’s bible to tell the story or just tell it in such a way that this age group can understand.

Discussion:
Discuss Jesus’ love for the blind man. Explain to the children that Jesus has that much love for all of us. Talk about ways that we can show love to others like Jesus showed love to the blind man.

Activity:
Give the children a pre-cut heart. Let them color it. Help them write “Jesus loves me” on their heart.
