Bible Craft – Peaceful Dove
As a Sunday school educator, you know that your children learn better when they are actively involved in the lesson. Using a Bible craft is one of the best ways to grab their attention and to reinforce your lesson.

Bible passage: Matthew 3:16
“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:”
Craft: Make a dove out of paper plate and cotton balls.
Materials: Paper plate, crayons/markers, glue/tape, scissors, cotton balls
1.Fold a paper plate in half.
2.Cut at the fold line.
3.From one side, cut in a diagonal line so that you get a piece of the paper plate that looks like a pie slice.
4.Glue the pie slice underneath the curved side of ½ of the paper plate. The straight edge should be closest to you.
5.From the unused ½ of the paper plate, cut a small rectangle for the neck.
6.Glue the neck underneath the straight side of the plate, in the middle.
7.Cut out a small circle for the head. Glue the head onto the neck.
8.Draw eyes and a beak on the face.
9.Glue cotton balls over the entire bird, leaving the head undone.
