Helping Kids Respond To Teasing About Their Faith – A Childrens Devotional

teasing about faith childrens devotional

Sometimes the best witness we can give people – especially if they’re resistant to scripture – is just some heartfelt stories of how God worked in our lives. Called “testimony,” these stories emphasize that our faith is about a real guy – Jesus – and not just a set of rules. Christianity is different than any other faith for just that reason. It centers on a Person who wants to love you forever.  In this childrens devotional, we meet Max, a young boy who want to share his excitement about his faith but runs up against some challenges.  We use Isaiah 55:11, John 4:37,  and 2 Timothy 3:2 to help children understand the feelings Max experiences.  Check out our guest post over at Heart Of The Matter!

That was a great devotional, and it rings very true. I also believe that we need to teach our children both Scripture and how to share their testimonies. God’s Truth with personal stories really show how Jesus is real. Blessings from Titus 2 Tuesday!
