This is an idea which has worked well in our church with Sunday school classes.  Using attendance charts for Sunday school is a positive way to keep track of attendance and reward students for their diligence and efforts.

Tracking & Rewarding with Attendance Charts for Sunday School

Give students a ticket for each week they are in attendance, as well as any time a student did something exceptionally well or is behaving as you asked.  When students accumulate a certain number of tickets, they are able to trade them in for a prize.  These prizes can consist of a short book, a set of markers or crayons, or any other small, inexpensive and appropriate gift you come up with.

Keep the tickets with you in the classroom so they don’t get lost, and make attendance worth more tickets than anything else.
