Have several students read Matthew 14: 25-31 out loud until the passage has been read.
Have the students get into pairs. Have each pair take on the roles of Peter and Jesus from the story. First have them act out the story as it is told in the Bible. Then have them act out the story as if Peter had not lost faith.

Ask the students why Peter began to sink. Ask them about some of the hard things that they have had to deal with. Emphasize to them that even during those hard times or storms we need to keep our eyes on Jesus.
