In the 1500s, Christopher Columbus left his home in Spain to become an explorer. It was always scary to head into places unknown, but Columbus felt he was called by God to do just that. He has something in common with two of the most famous Bible characters – Father Abraham and Moses. Can you guess what that is? God called all of them to leave their homes to discover a place God promised to them. Christopher Columbus can inspire children to become “Explorer’s of God’s Will” for their lives, which is a journey of faith and persistence that will reap great rewards in its time! Making the boats in this Bible craft may help them get started. Check out this guest post over at Christian Homeschool Moms!
