We can use the these Bible study activities when teaching the lesson of Naaman & Elisha. We’ll be talking about how bad times and things that are not fun can make us better able to serve the Lord as adults. (Teacher words in bold.)
Bible Study: Naaman & Elisha
For now, just make a list of things that have happened to you that were not fun. We’ll talk about them later. Think through your whole life.
Prompts: Chores, homework, failing at something, losing something, illness, or injury.
Give each child a piece of paper and a pencil.
Take that list you wrote out–the not-the-best things that happened to you.
First thank God for all the good things that have happened to you. Life is good, but life is a balance. Then we’re going to focus on some of these bad things.
Look at the things you wrote down. Take each one. Think of how you were affected by what happened, what changed in you so that you are now a bigger person. THIS WILL HELP YOU DEVELOP VISION.
