Youth Sunday School – God Made the World
As a teacher of youth Sunday school, I feel it is vital to show children the connection between what is happening in the world today and how to relate it to their beliefs. My 9-11 year old students like to feel they can make a difference in their world and this lesson can start them thinking about ways to do that.
Kids Sunday School – Samsons Great Strength
I like to get the 2-5 year olds in kids Sunday school thinking about how they can directly impact their own lives and make good choices for themselves. The story of Samson is perfect for starting them thinking about how to make their bodies strong and healthy just the same as God helped Samson.
Sunday School for Kids – Josephs Dreams
As a teacher of Sunday school for kids, it is important to involve children throughout the lesson to hold their interest. Use the story of Josephs dreams in this lesson to get your 6-8 year olds thinking about their own unique abilities or gifts from God.
Teen Sunday School – Miracles
I have found a key way to engage the interest of 12-14 year olds is to make a connection between the Bilbe story and current times. These teen Sunday school discussions and activities provide just this opportunity.
Teaching Sunday School – Listening to God
Keeping children’s attention when teaching Sunday school can be a challenge. This lesson stresses listening and has activities that work well with the 9-11 age group.
Sunday School Lessons for Kids – David and Goliath
These Sunday school lessons for kids about the story of David and Goliath are great to teach children about heroes. These ideas have worked particularly well with the 6-8 year olds in my class.
